To give sufficient time for all Department of Education (DepEd) officials and employees (teaching and non-teaching personnel) to prepare for the observance of Holy Thursday and Good Friday, work in all DepEd offices and schools is suspended starting at 12:00 pm. on April 13, 2022.

SUSPENSION OF WORK (HALF-DAY) IN THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION ON APRIL 13, 2022

Assistant Secretaries Schools Division Superintendents Public Elementary and Secondary School Heads All Others Concerned

1. To give sufficient time for all Department of Education (DepEd) officials and employees (teaching and non-teaching personnel) to prepare for the observance of Holy Thursday and Good Friday, work in all DepEd offices and schools is suspended starting at 12:00 pm. on April 13, 2022.

2. However, offices/units whose functions involve the delivery of emergency services/response, and/or performance of other vital services shall be expected to renderservices when necessary.

Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Memorandum is desired.
