According to Undersecretary Annalyn M. Sevilla, on her Facebook post on June 10, the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) will not collect June loan payments and this will have an effect of loan term extension.
"Good news:. GSIS will not collect June loan payments and this will have an effect of loan term extension," Sevilla said in her post.
"DepEd will refund the loan payments withheld from the June salary," she added.
The undersecretary also said that "GSIS is also processing the refund of the March loan payment that was remitted to GSIS in April. Concerned deped employees need not to apply to gsis for the refund as it will be remitted to your UMID cards."
"Mag-iistart kami mangolekta ng loan amotizations sa July. 'Yun loan moratorium natin, it will extend the term of the loan. If the remaining term of the loan is let us say is 12 months na lang. so magplu-plus 4 months kami." said Nora Malabay. GSIS Executive Vice President.
"Thanks GSIS EVP Nora Malubay for the (personal/private) validation," ended Usec. Sevilla.
