Former president Noynoy Aquino III passes away

Sources confirmed that Aquino has died this morning, June 24.

Sources said that Aquino was brought to Capitol Medical Center in Quezon City early Thursday for an undisclosed reason.

Aquino is the only son of the late president Corazon Aquino and senator Benigno Aquino Jr. Aquino served as the 15th president of the Republic of Philippines from 2010 to 2016.
