DepEd opens applications for financial aid
The Department of Education (DepEd) has opened its Senior High School Voucher Program (SHS VP) to applicants for the incoming school year.
The DepEd said prospective recipients could apply manually from May 26 to May 31, while online applicants have until June 2.
Students who finished Grade 10 at public schools, LUCs and SUCs are automatically qualified for the program and do not need to apply.
Those who completed Grade 10 at private schools who are Education Service Contracting (ESC) grantees are also automatically eligible.—By: Matthew Reysio-Cruz of Inquirer
