PVP for Teachers |
Proportional Vacation Pay (PVP) refers to compensation of teaching
personnel during Christmas and summer vacation computed in proportion to the
number of days they have served during the school year. The compensation we receive during April and May are called PVP. They are not salaries as known by many, they are considered as benefits.
PVP is computed depending on the number of school days and number of schools days and leave of absence. While the DepEd has not released yet a Deped Order on how to compute PVP 2019. We will be using the computation the other School Year so that you will a have a basis in computing how much you will receive this vacation.
